Date: July 19th- July 23rd
Location: Virtual

We at SSF are excited to announce a new partnership with EAH Inc. With missions well aligned, we hosted our first program together on July 19th-23rd. The camp centered around exposing students to new STEM technologies and applications – specifically HTML web design. We had more than 25 registrants from ten different EAH locations. Students ranged from 4th grade to 12th grade.

Over the course of the camp students learned the basics of HTML coding and syntax, learned how to set up their web pages and add links and images, spent some time on color and design elements, and showcased their final product to a live audience. Students earned prizes for best website, participation, and for winning Kahoot challenges.

At SSF we so were excited to see each participant present their personalized websites during our demo day! We are so proud of the hard work the students demonstrated and are excited for our next venture with EAH Housing.

We would like to thank Kristin Taylor, EAH Director of Resident Services, Chris Burger, EAH Technology Program Manager and Jesus Becerra, EAH Resource Coordinator for their partnership and support!

About SSF: At The Shooting Stars Foundation our mission is to empower communities to break the cycle of generational poverty through STEM education. We work across the US and internationally to provide students in need with STEM education opportunities through our dual programming model. First, we provide financial scholarships and training programs to students in India and Africa to empower them to pursue STEM education. Second, we host a wealth of in person and virtual STEM programs for underrepresented K-16 students in the US and abroad.
