Tech Immersion

We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world.

Our 4 week Tech Immersion Program teaches 10th –12th grade students (rising sophomores to rising seniors) the state of art computer science skills they need to prepare for a major and career in tech.

No experience required.
Free to apply. Scholarship and stipends for qualifying students

TECH SKILLS

Participants will experience a full curriculum - from the basics of coding to recent state of art technology concepts through hands-on real-world projects and teamwork removing their intimidation for programming. The Tech Immersion program includes web design, entrepreneurship concepts, and APP creation. By the end of the program students will have created a portfolio of projects for their college resume that they can be proud of!

MAJORS AND CAREERS

Participants will meet role models in the STEM Major college world, that will give them practical advise on next steps in this field. They will also meet Tech professionals in various fields and get an inside look at the tech world through guest speakers, workshops, and panels! This will give the girls a great perspective to shape their tech major and career!
