Empowering Latino high schoolers to pursue STEM majors, I witnessed exceptional talent and potential. The two-week summer program at Latino Prep underscored the importance of access and equity in unlocking every child's gifts. I was proud to be part of this initiative, opening new perspectives and opportunities for the future

My experience working with the Shooting Stars Foundation to host the TechBridge program was extremely rewarding. As a program manager, I was given the opportunity to work directly with students, introducing them to the STEM field and preparing them to succeed in higher education. Watching students grasp new concepts and quickly applying them to solve real-world challenges was fulfilling beyond words. It was inspiring to see their confidence grow as they overcame obstacles and developed critical skills that will serve them well in their academic and professional futures."

I truly enjoy volunteering as a mentor for the Shooting Stars Foundation, a wonderful organization dedicated to empowering young people. Last summer, I had the opportunity to participate in one of their STEM Program, where I guided students in creating marketing plans for their business and app ideas. It was incredibly fulfilling to share my passion for marketing with such ambitious and curious learners, helping them bring their visions to life. Seeing their creativity and enthusiasm made the experience truly rewarding, and I look forward to mentoring again in the future.

Serving as a youth officer for Shooting Stars Foundation is such an amazing and fun opportunity. I’ve got the chance to make a real change in the community while leading hackathons and was able to meet so many great people, while communicating with others with similar interests. This journey has been so great and I hope to help with many more events with Shooting Stars Foundation.

Working on the SSFxEAH Game Design camp was an extremely rewarding experience for me. Seeing each and every student gain experience in Scratch, and seeing their faces light up when they made their final projects really made me appreciate the work SSF was putting in to helping underprivileged communities around the United States! I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with students every whose passion and dedication to STEM was extremely visible. I am so glad I was able to be a part of helping these students!

The Presidential Volunteer Service Award celebrates exceptional commitment to community service. Our youth officers earn this honor through their dedication, logging hours that meet Bronze (100–249), Silver (250–499), or Gold (500+) levels. Their impact inspires us all, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements. Thank you to our volunteer parents and officers for supporting SSF's mission to break the cycle of poverty through STEM education!

Being the founder of the Shooting Stars Entrepreneurship Division has allowed me to share my passion for entrepreneurship with teens around the country, while also empowering other passionate high school students to be leaders in their own communities, in addition to impacting globally.

I currently work as an IoT Engineer at Cognizant. In my free time, I volunteer my time to the Shooting Stars Foundation by teaching and mentoring with the Flutter SDK. I love volunteering because it’s a great way to give back to the next generation of scientists and engineers. In addition, it provides me a great opportunity to solidify the concepts, that I teach, for myself. I love volunteering with SSF and look forward to many more bootcamps and mentoring sessions.

My volunteer work with SSF is concentrated on fundraising and liaising with donors. I also check in with students and help mentor them as they progress in their studies. The most unique part of volunteering with SSF is the visibility of the direct impact that is being made. It is an incredible experience to have sponsored, or helped others sponsor scholars and see them graduate. The magnitude of impact is generational and so unique to Shooting Stars.
