Many Hispanic and African American students in the U.S. face barriers to accessing quality STEM education – from limited exposure and resources to a lack of mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities. At Shooting Stars Foundation, our U.S. STEM programs are designed to bridge this gap by providing early exposure to science and technology through coding camps, AI workshops, tech launch programs, scientific learning tracks, and all-girls hackathons. Through hands-on projects, collaborative problem-solving, and mentorship from industry professionals, students build confidence, curiosity, and the skills needed to pursue future careers in technology, artificial intelligence, and other STEM fields.
STEM-focused coding events where participants build innovative tech projects in 12–24 hours. We host these in partnership with corporates like Amgen, and Netscout.

Last summer, I had the opportunity to participate in the SSF STEM Program, where I guided students in creating marketing plans for their business and app ideas.
