Since 2021, the IBM Z Ecosystem team has partnered with Shooting Stars Foundation (SSF) to host the annual IBM Z Datathon – a global hackathon designed to inspire and upskill students in IBM Z technology, AI, and data-driven problem-solving.
Through virtual SME sessions, access to the IBM Z Xplore learning platform, and hands-on engagement on the LinuxONE Community Cloud (L1CC), students gain exposure to cutting-edge enterprise tech.
The recurring theme, “Tech for Good,” challenges participants to leverage machine learning, AI, and data to solve real-world social problems.
