The Shooting Stars Foundation STEM Scholarship Program exists to support meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who are at risk of discontinuing their higher education due to financial constraints. Our STEM scholarships help ensure that deserving students like you can continue and complete their professional education without worrying about college/hostel fees.

Shooting Stars Foundation’s scholarship applications are open year-round for deserving students pursuing Engineering, Medical, and Paramedical education. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to verification and funding availability.

You may apply if you

Have secured admission into a professional degree program (Engineering / Medical / Paramedical) in a government or aided institution

Students admitted to private colleges may also apply; however, management quota students are not eligible
Family income is 5 Lakhs Per Annum or less
Have demonstrated academic merit despite financial hardship
Are a first-generation learner, orphan, or from a single-parent family (not mandatory, but prioritized)
You belong to a farming, Day- labour or working in rural areas (not mandatory, but prioritized)
Have studied for your 10th and 12th in government schools (not mandatory, but prioritized)

The SSF scholar journey 

Step:01 Apply & get approved
Secure admission into a government or accredited medical, engineering, or paramedical college, apply for the SSF scholarship, and complete a rigorous vetting process evaluating financial need, academic potential, and motivation to succeed.

Step 2: Receive training & mentorship

Beyond financial support, scholars gain access to high-quality external vendor-led English communication & public speaking training, Leadership development programs, Professional mentoring and guidance, Internship & Placement support.

Step 3: Volunteering & experiential learning

Scholars actively participate in SSF initiatives, taking up tasks that build real-world experience while giving back to the community.
Step 4: Graduate & get placed
Our training and mentorship prepare scholars to graduate with confidence, secure placements in leading corporations, hospitals, or institutions and begin strong, independent careers.



Step 5: Uplift your family

Begin your career with confidence, support your parents and siblings, build financial stability, and create a pathway toward long-term economic security for your family. Through steady income, continued learning, and skill-building, scholars help their families move toward sustainable livelihoods and upward mobility.
