STEM scholarships for diverse futures
across the U.S.
STEM education opens doors to innovation, economic mobility, and leadership. Yet even in the United States, many high-performing students face financial barriers that threaten their ability to continue their education. The SSF US STEM Scholarship directly advances our mission to expand opportunity, nurture STEM talent, and ensure students don’t just enter college – they graduate and thrive.
As SSF continues to expand its US STEM initiatives, scholarships remain a critical pillar of student success. With sustained donor and partner support, we are committed to growing this program and reaching more high-potential students across the country.
Students are selected through a rigorous, transparent process grounded in merit, financial need, community engagement, and alignment with long-term STEM goals. Our selection process includes:
Application review
Video and essay submissions
Standardized rubric evaluation

Thanks to a generous $5,000 donation from SSF Board Member Kevin Lee, we were able to award multiple US STEM scholarships in 2025.

His contribution directly supports students in covering essential academic costs – helping them stay on track and move closer to their professional goals.
4 outstanding college students awarded $500 US STEM scholarships in 2025 This milestone also propels our vision for 2026, where we aim to expand scholarship access and double the number of students supported through SSF US STEM programs.
Your support helps remove barriers, unlock potential, and shape the future of STEM - one student at a time.
