Online Summer Camps 2020 (Atlanta Based Coaches)

  • Session 1 runs from July 20th - July 24th.
  • Session 2 runs from July 27th - July 31st.
  • Each program is $25 (per session per program)
  • Programs are for students from 2nd to 5th grade (Web Design & Origami have 6th to 9th grade classes)
  • Both sessions have the same content, the second session is not an extension of session 1, but a repeat.
  • Each session will have 5 classes
  • Each class is 1 hour and will be conducted through Zoom/Webex meetings.
  • WhatsApp (messaging platform) will be used for communication 
  • To fully register: first fill out the Google Form and then pay through the Eventbrite link under each camp; if you're participating in multiple programs fill out the Google Form once, but will have to pay multiple times

Origami 10-11AM EST (GRADES 2-5) This camp introduces kids to Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. Learn about Origami, how to build cool models, and how they are being used in the real world. N/A 5-6 years of experience in simple to complex Origami, started an Origami club at school, attended 2019 U.S. Origami Convention in New York, selected as a finalist in a Origami model competition held by Origami USA

Origami 11 AM-12 PM EST (GRADES 6-9) This camp teaches Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. Build unique models, learn about Origami, and find out how to use them in stop motion animation. Speech(grades 2-5): 1 - 2 PM EST Participants will analyze exemplar speeches, learn the components of speeches, and present their own speeches. Experienced speaker and writer, numerous AP/honors English courses, previous experience teaching speech writing/presenting

Creative Writing (grades 2-5): 2 - 3 PM EST Participants will explore fun types of writing, analyze pieces, and write their own pieces. Experienced writer, numerous AP/honors English courses, previous experience teaching creative writing

Tiny Scientists (grades 2-5): 3-4 PM EST Participants will conduct at-home science labs using home-based, fun supplies such as candy and balloons. N/A Taken rigorous science courses such as AP Biology, Honors Biology, and Honors Chemistry, taken part in Science Olympiad and won awards, experience in teaching children

Bollywood Dance (grades 2-5): 4 - 5 PM EST Participants will learn one full Bollywood dance routine. Beginner to advanced! N/A Takes part in multiple performances, helped create Indian dance club at school, experienced choreographer and teacher

Web Design Workshop (grades 6-9): 5 - 6 PM EST Participants will learn to build and design their very own website using HTML and CSS. Experience in coding (Java, HTML, CSS), AP Computer Science A, has made websites using HTML and CSS, experience in teaching children
