Suresh is from Ekanampet village near Wallajah, in the Kanchipuram district. When he was very young, Suresh’s parents separated, and he is unaware of his father’s whereabouts to this day. Since the day of separation, he has lived with his mother and grandmother. His mother is very friendly, but stern, especially when emphasizing the importance of education. Suresh’s mother works at a security company in several shift timings, but she mostly works night shifts. Additionally, her job is not permanent, so finances are unstable as of right now. Currently, they own a tiled house and are also supported by Suresh’s uncle.
Currently, Suresh is studying mechanical engineering at the PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India. His timings are from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM doing assignments and referring to the materials taught that day. In his primary and secondary school, the medium of teaching was in Tamil, however all of his college classes are taught in English. As a result, understanding all the material initially was a challenge, however with the help of roommates and online resources, he has managed. After engineering, Suresh aspires to work for a core automobile company and take care of his mother. He plans to get his Master’s degree in the United States. A compassionate student, he also wishes to help students similar to him in the future.
In his free time, Suresh enjoys playing cricket and is part of the college badminton team. Additionally, he enjoys art, specifically drawing.
